Feng Shui: What\'s in for You?

In the many years I have been practicing and consulting individuals, professionals, large corporations, celebrities, politicians, i.e. generally “people” - there is a very common pattern which actually defines us as “humans” which is usually to wait for bad times before we take action. We usually don’t think about what we have to do to better or remedy a situation until it’s usually too late or late enough to have to suffer before a solution is reached. This applies in any type of circumstance be it personally, in a business, even something as random as buying a car. Okay, so what is the answer to the question posed, i.e. “What’s in it for you?” – the answer is, insight!
Feng Shui goes hand in hand with timing. There is a tangible timing aspect to practically any activity a person undertakes. Why not have a “timing” forecast so we could plan instead of solve. All patterns in our lives (and corporations are also viewed as an individual entity), are cyclical and can, therefore, be calculated. Patterns repeat and, therefore, can be foreseen. Let’s explore other popular questions…
What is the benefit of using Feng Shui before buying a home?
The choice of a new home can swing the pendulum in either direction – towards success or failure. There is certain criteria in a house which are key performance indicators. A house is a reflection of you – where you’ve been, where you are now and where you’re heading. If you are considering, let’s say, moving in to a house which reflects and indicates career issues, once moving in, that will reflect in your own career or of any given one of the residents of the house. The same can be said about health, money and your relationship with family, friends and others. A new home acts as a catalyst to whatever the equation of a home is compared to your own numbers. Remember, it’s all in the numbers.
What is the benefit of using Feng Shui on a yearly basis?
Okay, let’s take it a step further. There are common daily events such as, just to name a few, opening a new bank account, planning a vacation, purchasing a car, which are all things we do during the course of our lives. It’s not really what we do, it’s when we do it. Let’s say planning a vacation. Why not plan it for a time when it will be stress free, enjoyable and relaxing? Proof is that a family could take two separate vacations to the same place, stay in the same room, and do the same activities but one is disastrous and the other turns out great. Again, no tangible reason but outcome nevertheless. Why not buy a car during a time period which can prevent a problematic vehicle such as lower the probability of repairs and, more importantly, accidents, etc. Some things are as trivial as paperwork issues, credit approval, repairs and tweaking but other issues could manifest in the form of a life threatening accident. Again, insight could save us trouble.
What about the benefit of using Feng Shui before choosing the location of a business and of using Feng Shui yearly for your business?
Pave a strategic canvas for your business! Using what we’ve learned about Feng Shui, isn’t it a better idea to minimize your losses and improve your chances of success in advance. The most important factor when staring a business using the principles of Feng Shui is location, location, location.
Usually, in business, an Accountant is a key member of your staff, onsite or offsite, because given all the information (once you’re operational) i.e. sales, expenses, direction and goals, that professional could map a course to take and try to help guide you in any given direction you may want to take. Feng Shui is able to produce the same information from a different angle before you actually move in even before you sell your product or perform your first service. Feng Shui can guide you towards profitability and it can help you gage that profitability in that location in a monthly and yearly span and even in a five or ten year span. Using the timing aspect, it can provide you with a plan of attack as to when business will be up for inventory purposes, can prognosticate staffing issues and can help you make the most of advertising instead of just shooting from the hip.
Not everything can be timed perfectly from the beginning such as purchasing a home or starting a business so for those of you who are already settled there is still hope. Although there are ideal situations in which to incorporate Feng Shui into your life, it’s actually never too late. In fact, 90% of my clients are already settled in existing homes or business. There is no time limit on insight!
